Support
We’re happy to help.
flightwatch tracks flights by number and date, shows live status in the airport’s own timezone, and alerts you the moment something changes. Below are the most common questions — if yours isn’t here, email us.
Frequently asked
How do I track a flight?
Tap the + button, enter the flight (e.g. “BA 284”) and its departure date, and add it. We fetch the live status and start watching for changes.
When will I get alerts?
Whenever something meaningful changes — a gate, terminal, or baggage belt; an estimated or actual departure/arrival time; or the flight’s status. Tiny time shifts under five minutes are ignored so you’re not pinged for noise.
What is the compensation feature?
When an EU/UK flight is delayed three hours or more, or cancelled, we estimate what you may be owed under EC261 and can hand you off to a licensed claims partner. flightwatch is a referrer — we don’t file claims or give legal advice, and referral is always your choice.
I’m not getting notifications.
Make sure notifications are enabled for flightwatch in your device Settings, and that you’re signed in. Push works on a real device; the iOS Simulator can’t receive push. Email alerts work everywhere.
How do I delete my account?
From the “You” tab in the app you can delete your account, which removes your data, tracked flights, and push tokens.
